How do I know if my club is good?
Here is some advice and some questions to ask to help you find the right golf club in your area:
Is the club registered with
Future Links, driven by Honda
? Future Links accreditation is a stamp of approval showing that the club runs a minimum of one Future Links program, has qualified and insured coaches and provides competitive opportunities
Does the facility have junior equipment available to use or purchase?
Does the facility offer a season-long program?
Check references through friends and family members
Visit the facility and speak directly to PGA of Canada Professional staff
Are the fees affordable?
Are there recognized or notable talented junior members at the club?
Call the Provincial Golf Association for references and/or information
Future Links, driven by Honda
programs are only open to children under age 18, although these remain important points to think about for older children as well. Future Links accredited facilities typically have better coaching and instruction programs.
