Program Details

The Future Links, driven by Acura Girls’ Club program is based on the premise that we can encourage more young girls to experience all of the positives the game of golf has to offer through the delivery of fun golf activities and learning environments in a “girls only” setting. Not all girls are motivated by competition. Some don't like it and others might like it if they felt more prepared. The Girls’ Club focuses on introducing girls to social competition, learning how to compete and develop friendships. Many will be happy to remain playing at this level while others will progress to compete on a tougher scale. The important point is the Girls’ Club program offers that choice.

Activities are provided for various levels with players being encouraged to improve and progress. Clubs meet regularly - usually once a month and events range from clinics to play days and fun days. Tournaments are mostly fun team events including Scrambles and Best Ball competitions, which take the pressure off head-to-head competition and place more emphasis on fun and enjoyment.

A number of theme days are held during the year such as ‘Dad & Daughter’ days, Golf Olympics, Night Golf etc. Your Provincial Ladies’ Golf Association or Golf Canada can advise you of the closest golf club to your community.

Main Features of the Program:

  • Ability to deliver a program with limited environmental resources – you don’t need to have access to a Golf Course to get started.
