Message from the PGA of Canada

Canadian PGAThe PGA of Canada and Golf Canada partnership in teaching and coaching has been a critical component in the development of this exciting new resource for golf professionals. PGA of Canada members were key in the development and piloting of the new Future Links, driven by Acura Learn to Play resource material.

This new program has been developed by seasoned golf professionals for golf professionals from a variety of backgrounds and they ensured that it met the highest technical standards and that it aligns with the Long Term Player Development (LTPD) guide for golf in Canada. This new program takes into consideration, child development principles, stages of skill development and articulates benchmarks to be achieved at the appropriate time in the child's development. This turn-key resource can be used by all golf professionals as their main resource or as an addition to their current junior golf program's resource material. The Future Links, driven by Acura Learn to Play program is a major component in our collective efforts to create a stronger player development system for golf in Canada.

The PGA of Canada is proud to present this resource in concert with Golf Canada and is confident that it will be a welcomed addition to all PGA of Canada members' junior golf programs across Canada. We look forward to your participation in this initiative.
