Golf in Schools Grant Application

Acura is proud to support the future of the game and the well-being and safety of our children by introducing the next generation of golfers to the game. Your school has the opportunity to participate in the program by applying for one of the 60 grants available in Canada.

The Golf in Schools program allows elementary teachers to introduce the game of golf to their students in their physical education classes. Developed by Physical and Health Education Canada (PHE Canada) with Golf Canada and the PGA of Canada, Golf in Schools was written for teachers by teachers, regardless of their background in golf.

Acura is proud to offer 60 schools the opportunity to qualify to receive the full program for free (a value of $475). The full program consists of the Learning Resource as well as hard plastic golf equipment that is child friendly, safe and easy to store.

Application Criteria:
  • Schools must not currently be registered with the Golf in Schools program; grants are for newly registered schools only.
  • The maximum grant available is $475, 1 equipment package. Schools are not eligible for more than one package.
  • Only fully completed grant applications will be considered.
Selection process (or criteria):

Only schools that meet the above criteria and submit a completed grant application will be considered for a Acura Golf in Schools grant. Once submitted, applications will be reviewed by Golf Canada and Acura and chosen schools will be notified within 10 business days.
